Stephen Oyer, Executive Vice President of Sales
Mr. Oyer is responsible for all sales and marketing at US Signal. The US Signal sales strategy includes three channels of distribution: carrier, wholesale, and retail. In addition, Mr. Oyer oversees all marketing, agent relations, retention and client development. Mr. Oyer has over twenty years in telecommunications and sales leadership.
Prior to joining the company in August 2001, Mr. Oyer was Vice President of Sales-West Region for Choice One Communications, Inc., a facilities-based CLEC serving the Northeastern and Midwestern sections of the United States. Choice One Communications acquired US Xchange, LLC where Mr. Oyer served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Oyer spent six years at Centennial Wireless where he served as Senior Director of Sales, Regional General Manager, as well as National Sales Manager. His telecommunications career began at GTE Telephone Operations as Manager of Direct Marketing Sales.
Daniel Olrich, Executive Vice President of Operations
As Executive Vice President of Operations, Mr. Olrich oversees all Data and Network Engineering, Network Planning, NOC Operations, Facilities, Field Operations, as well as all IT Requirements for US Signal Co.
Prior to joining US Signal in March 2002, he was Systems Engineer for the Enterprise Sales Division at Nortel Networks. He was responsible for designing and selling customer networks utilizing optical and ATM technologies and IP solutions. He was Senior Network Specialist at Steelcase from 1996 to 1998 where he configured and maintained ATM switches, Ethernet switches and WAN/LAN routers. He wrote network management software, as well as maintained the Cisco LAN/WAN. Mr. Olrich also spent nine years with the United States Treasury Department as an Information Systems Software Engineer.
Joanna Shaw, Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Shaw joined the US Signal team in July of 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. She oversees the Finance Department including all accounting functions, insurance, bonding and tax issues.
Prior to joining US Signal, Mrs. Shaw spent five years as a tax manager with the public accounting firm of BDO Seidman, LLP. She performed research and analysis of complex tax issues, compliance work, and managed various client service responsibilities. Mrs. Shaw also spent two years with Maner, Costerisan & Ellis P.C., a public accounting firm in Lansing, Michigan.
Lisa Gemmen, Vice President of Service Delivery
Ms. Gemmen has managed all aspects of Service Delivery for US Signal since April of 2002. She is responsible for the order process from inception to installation. This includes Project Management, Provisioning, Test and Turn-Up and Billing.
Prior to joining US Signal, Ms. Gemmen spent four years with US Xchange as Director of Service Delivery. While there, her duties included management of order coordination, provisioning, dispatch, translations and LEC services. She also spent three years with the local and long-distance company US Signal/Brooks Fiber (now MCI) as Manager of Sales Support.
