GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.,October 28, 2008 — US Signal today announced that it has selected ADTRAN® (NASDAQ: ADTN) as the vendor of choice for both Ethernet over Copper (EoCu) and Ethernet over TDM (EoTDM) solutions. ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 Ethernet Aggregation Platform, NetVanta 800 Series of intelligent Network Termination Units (NTUs) (NetVanta 818, 838 and 873), will be used to provide the copper-based Metro Ethernet extension for US Signal’s 4,000 mile fiber-based Midwestern data network servicing customers in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
