Managed Security is available in two network based implementations: Cloud Based Managed Firewall and Cloud Based Advanced Security. Managed Security creates a secure connection to the Internet and moves security to the perimeter of a trusted private network. With Managed Security US Signal delivers the simplicity of a solution seamlessly integrating private and public networking with the peace of mind provided by a team of security experts and 24 x 7 x 365 support.
Managed Security includes the following services:
- Managed Security is a service providing firewall functionality along with Dedicated Internet Access and creates a partnership between the customer and security team at US Signal to keep the customers network and data safe.
- All private networks require security policies to keep data safe. Managed Security meets customer security needs in several ways: Improves data flows by moving a security perimeter into the cloud, increased security expertise by partnering customers with the USS security team and decreasing capital expenditures by removing the need for an expensive onsite security appliance.
- Managed Security is delivered in “the cloud” by US Signal provisioned and maintained security appliances. These security appliances establish a stateful firewall between the customer’s private network and the public internet by examining Layer 3 and Layer 4 IP Packet headers.
